Ivalo is a village in the region of Inari, Lapland, Finland, situated on the Ivalo River. Just 19 miles to the south of the village is the popular resort of Saariselkä. It is a well-known destination each year for those who enjoy winter sports such as husky and reindeer sledge riding, skiing and snowboarding. It is also a great place for outdoor adventures like trekking and hiking, canoeing, panning for gold, and fishing. At the time of rental the driver must present a valid national driver's licence.
An International Driving Permit (IDP) or other official translation* is mandatory if your national driver's licence is not in Roman script.
*Only official translations in Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, English, German or French language will be accepted.
The IDP translates the national licence into various languages and is on its own, without the national licence, not acceptable.

Extra day is charged after 29 minutes over 24 hour rental period.
A one way rental is a rental which starts at one location and terminates at another. Availability is subject to location restrictions and vehicle type. A fee may apply for this service and will be advised at time of reservation. Please note that this fee, although quoted in your reservation, will not be charged in advance on your credit card if you are booking a pre-paid rate but will be debited at the counter upon collection of your vehicle.
