Cala Ratjada is one of the main resorts on the east coast of Majorca. It's ideal for beach holidays and evening entertainment and it makes for a credible alternative to the lively yet scenic resorts in the west of the island. Cala Ratjada is at the opposite end of the island to Palma, but Majorca is such a relatively small space that any drive is achievable on a day trip; car hire in Cala Ratjada will bring the whole island into focus.
Hiring a car in Cala Ratjada will allow you to visit renowned resorts like Cala Millor, as well as cities such as Arta, Palma and Inca.
On a beach holiday in Majorca You'll be spending a lot time relaxing with a book, or watching the evening's entertainment in the hotel. Find the nicest beaches such as Cala Agulla and soak up the sun, then for a bit of diversity, consider hiring a car in Cala Ratjada to explore the island further. We have outlets in the resort itself at Avenida Juan Carlos I, or even at Palma Airport.
Cala Millor resort and its beautiful beaches are within easy driving distance if you choose to rent a car in Cala Ratjada, and the island is relatively uncongested in terms of traffic, so driving on the main roads is fairly stress free.

Please note that from 15 Nov to 15 Apr many cities are required by law to restrict the circulation to only vehicles equipped with snow chains or winter tyres. For a summary of the orders, please visit www.poliziadistato.it. To comply with the regulations, in specific locations subject to this requirement, vehicles are equipped with snow chains - the price is included in the rental charges through the cost of "Winterization Fee". At pick-up if you decide to bring your own snow chains or do not intend on driving on the roads subject to this requirement, you may decline the equipment by signing the appropriate release form. This change will be reflected in the rental charges. For more information on the fees, please click here. In all other regions, we recommend that you check before renting if your journey includes one of the roads subject to this requirement and therefore request the snow chains, if necessary.
