  • The E11 is Dubai's longest road and connects all the major emirates minus Fujairah. It serves Abu Dhabi airport and is also known as Sheikh Zayed Road.
  • E66 Route or Dubai-Al Ain road begins in Dubai and connects to the inner city of Al Ain.
  • The Sheikh Khalifa Highway is also called the Dubai-Fujairah road or the E84. It is the shortest route for travelling between Dubai and Fujairah.

How to get from Dubai Marina to The Palm Jumeirah

It takes 13 minutes to drive the four miles from Dubai Marina to The Palm Jumeirah.

  • Leave the car rental car park and turn right on to Braih Street.
  • Take a right on to King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street/D94.
  • Keep left to stay on King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street/D94.
  • Take the slip road to The Palm Jumeirah.

How to get from Dubai International Airport to Sharjah

Sharjah is just a 20-minute drive from Dubai International Airport. Just head north-west and take the slip road onto Casablanca Street/D70. Keep right at the fork to follow signs for DXB Airport Terminal 2/City Centre/E11 and keep left to merge onto E11. Follow E11 to Sheikh Zayed Street/S124 in Al Sharjah. Take the S124 exit from E11 to Sharjah.
