How to get from Hamburg to Hannover

It takes approximately one hour 45 minutes to drive the 160km from Hamburg to Hannover.

  • From CONTIPARK Tiefgarage Europa Passage (20095) car park, head north-east on Hermannstraße.
  • Turn left to Alstertor.
  • Turn right onto Ballindamm.
  • Turn right onto Glockengießerwall/Ring 1/Wallringtunnel, then take the B4 to A255/B75.
  • Follow signs for Bremen/Hannover/Lübeck before merging onto the A1.
  • Follow signs for A7/Hannover and merge onto the A7.
  • Look for A352 and keep right at the fork to continue.
  • Take exit 3 and merge onto B522, taking you toward Messe/Langenhagen.
  • Continue on Vahrenwalder Str. Follow signs for Hannover city centre.

How to get from Hamburg to Lübeck

It takes around an hour to drive the 68km from Hamburg to the World Heritage Sites of Lübeck.

  • From central Hamburg, take the B4 and keep right on Nordkanalbrücke.
  • Continue on Nordkanalstraße, then turn left onto Anckelmannspl./B75.
  • Turn right onto Bürgerweide, before continuing on Sievekingsallee.

At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A24 heading to Berlin/Schwerin/Lübeck/Bremen. Keep left to exit onto the A1 to Lübeck.
