- Alte Oper (60313) contains more than 400 spaces and is offers 24/7 parking, located next to the old opera house.
- Rotes Kreuz (60316) a small car park but offers 24/7 covered parking next to Frankfurt Zoo.
- Dom Römer (60311) provides over 475 parking spaces within a short walk from the old city (Römer), the Frankfurt history museum and the Iron Footbridge.
Key roads in Frankfurt
- The B44 begins in the centre of Frankfurt, running south out of the city and travelling south to reach Mannheim.
- Autobahn 5 is a total of 445km long and ends at the Swiss border. The section between Frankfurt and Darmstadt is the longest in Germany with eight lanes.
- The A661 starts in Oberursel and cuts through Frankfurt. It connects to the B3 in Egelsbach.
How to get from Frankfurt to Mainz
It takes just under an hour to drive the 44km from Frankfurt to Mainz.
- Head West on Gutleutstraße and turn left on to B44
- Use the right two lanes to stay on B44/B43
- Continue on B43 then take A60 to L425 in Mainz
- Use exit 22b and follow the L425 to Mainz
How to get from Frankfurt to Aschaffenburg
Aschaffenburg is just a half hour drive from Frankfurt.
- Join the A3 and follow it to the B8 in Kleinostheim.
- Then take exit 57-58 to Aschaffenburg/Stockstadt.
