Rental Qualifications and RequirementsStay connected wherever you are with the option to connect to Wi-Fi in the car.
At the time of rental the driver must present a valid national driver's license which has been held for at least 3 years. A valid ID card or passport is required at time of pick-up.
Please note that any drivers with endorsements or convictions for dangerous driving, drink driving or unauthorised taking of a vehicle in the last 3 years won't be able to rent.
An International Driving Permit (IDP) is mandatory if your national driver's license is not in Roman characters. Citizens of countries that have not signed the 1968 Vienna Convention of Road Traffic, must present the IDP or a notarised translation of their driver's license in Kazakh or Russian. The IDP translates the national licence into various languages and on its own, without the national licence, is not acceptable.

A one way rental is a rental which starts at one location and terminates at another. Availability is subject to location restrictions and vehicle type. A fee may apply for this service and will be advised at time of reservation.

Hertz rates do not include fuel.
All Hertz vehicles are rented with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank or a local refuelling charge of USD 22.40 (including tax) will apply in addition to the cost of the fuel.
Fuel Purchase Option (FPO)
For your convenience, you may purchase a tank of fuel from Hertz at the time of rental at a price that is competitive with local fuel stations. This method eliminates the need for you to refill the tank before returning. Please be aware that we are unable to give a refund for unused fuel.
