As part of our 100th Birthday celebrations, we have partnered with the National Theatre to give you and one lucky guest the chance to win the trip of a lifetime to New York!
You’ll fly from London Heathrow (LHR) to New York (JFK) airport, courtesy of Delta Air Lines, where you will begin your Big Apple experience. You’ll spend two nights at New York City’s only Relais & Châteaux hotel, The Surrey, located on Manhattan’s sophisticated Upper East Side.

How to enter
On the 10th – 12th August, we’ll be at the National Theatre’s free River Stage festival, showcasing the world’s first Cinema Car, the NT’s upcoming production, Follies, and our brand new Ford Mustang.
To be in with a chance of winning the trip of the lifetime, all you need to do is come and see us at the festival and take a photo with our Hertz Mustang, tagging @HertzUK on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, (or all three) and hashtagging #Hertz100. Entries close at 11am on Monday 13th August 2018.
We’ll select a photo at random to win and announce the winner on Tuesday 14th August 2018 on our Facebook and Twitter accounts!

This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Participants provide a complete release of Facebook, Instagram or Twitter in relation to this prize draw. Entry to this prize draw is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please follow the directions set out below to ensure correct entry to the prize draw. Prior to any award of a prize, winners may be required to reconfirm adherence to these terms.
Hertz and Participants
The promoter: “Hertz” is Hertz Europe Limited of 11 Vine Street, Uxbridge, UB8 1QE, United Kingdom.
All entrants (“Participants”) must be aged 18 or over and resident in the UK with an active Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account.
Employees of Hertz, National Theatre, Relais & Châteaux or Delta Air Lines, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
By entering this prize draw, all participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions unless notified otherwise in writing. Hertz reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
Prize draw and how to participate
The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
The free prize draw will be held on Facebook, Twitter + Instagram and will be running from 10 August 2018 to 12 August 2018 (“Prize Draw Period”). Entries received after 11am on 13 August 2018 will not be considered. Maximum of one entry per Participant is permitted.
To be automatically entered into the prize draw, the Participants must take a photo with the Hertz Mustang at the River Stage Festival (running 10 – 12 August 2018) and post it on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, tag @HertzUK and use the hashtag #Hertz100. Any entries that do not contain the tag or the hashtag will not be valid.
Entries must be made from accounts that are open to the public.
By sharing the photo, the Participants confirm that their post does not contain:
Works of art; unless you can demonstrate that you have been granted a licence to have such works of art used;
Logos or brand names unless you can demonstrate that you have been granted a licence to have such logo or brand names used; or
Images featuring nudity or anything which may be considered obscene, immoral or in any way inappropriate; or
Anything that may infringe the rights of any third party.
Hertz will reject entries which, in the reasonable opinion of Hertz:
a. contain any content that is likely to be considered offensive by Hertz or could reflect negatively the name, reputation, or goodwill of Hertz or any brand partner;
b. include trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material not owned by you or used without the right holder's prior written permission (including famous names, company names, etc.);
c. defames, misrepresents, or insult other people or companies, including, but not limited to Hertz (including its partners);
d. promotes any political agenda;
e. otherwise do not meet the above criteria.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, Hertz reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this prize draw without prior notice.
The prize
One winner will be randomly drawn from all valid entries received throughout the Prize Draw Period.
The prize includes two return economy flights from London Heathrow to New York (JFK Airport) and a two night stay for two at Relais & Châteaux hotel, The Surrey, in New York.
Spending money, meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, and all other ancillary costs are not included and are the winner’s responsibility.
Prize must be booked before 30 September 2018, with travel completed by 30 November 2018.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash or credit alternative is offered. In the event that the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, Hertz reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

The selection
The winner will be selected from all valid entries received during the Prize Draw Period by using a computer process that produces verifiably random results on 14 August 2018 at 11am.
Participants agree to be contacted by Hertz for the purposes of administrating the prize draw.
Hertz will contact the winner on 14 August 2018 via their Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account and the winner must provide a postal or email address to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond to Hertz within 1 day of being notified by Hertz, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Hertz will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
The prize may be awarded to other Participants at the absolute and sole discretion of Hertz.
The winner must ensure that their passport, and the passport of the person joining them, is valid for at least 6 months following the current return date and that no page in the passport is damaged. For entry to certain countries a VISA is required which is the winner’s responsibility to provide.
Personal Data
Hertz is committed to protecting Participants’ privacy. Any personal information supplied by Participants will be used and processed by Hertz or its associated group companies solely for the purpose of administering the free prize draw and for marketing purposes. By entering the Prize Draw, Participants agree to their names and images being published on digital and social channels.
Privacy Policy. Personal data supplied during the course of this prize draw may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA.
You will be contacted by Hertz for the purposes of administrating the free prize draw or in the event that Hertz wishes to discuss any other use of the information submitted to the free prize draw.
Hertz reserves the right to publish the name and country of the winner or to publicise any prize giving presentation after the date of the free prize draw. Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the prize draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
Disclaimer
Hertz reserves the right to void the prize at any time and change these terms and conditions.
Hertz reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any prize if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this free prize draw.
Hertz accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. The decision of Hertz regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Hertz shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this prize draw. However, nothing in these terms shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Hertz’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of its employees or contractors.
In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter related to the free prize draw, the decision of the Directors of Hertz is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
