Miami

Covering 2.6 acres, Miami Beach Botanical Garden is the place to go for rare and exotic horticulture. Having undergone an extensive landscape renovation four years ago, you will be greeted by glorious images and aromas from the moment you enter. Trees like the ylang-ylang and frangipani offer intoxicating scents, while the likes of the ashoka tree and Tabelula and Bauhina plants provide colourful flowers throughout the year. Elsewhere, the Japanese Garden features a red bridge over a pond of water lilies, and numerous unusual eastern blooms, while the Native Garden has hummingbirds and butterflies amid its fascinating greenery. Free to visit, Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a heaven on earth.
