Hire a Tesla Model YThe Experience
Wider, longer and taller than the mid-size Model 3, the Model Y provides a more elevated driving experience, thanks to a low dashboard. The all-glass roof allows more light into the cabin and creates a spacious, luxurious environment.
With a sleek, minimalist interior, there’s barely any buttons and switches in the Model Y, apart from window and seat controls. Everything is controlled through the 15-inch touchscreen, in the middle of the dashboard. It functions like a tablet, complete with apps, and is simple to use – whether controlling the driving mode, route planning or streaming.
The Model Y has a lively performance, thanks to the power being delivered directly from the motor to the driving wheels – with no gearbox in between. Adaptive suspension ensures a smooth ride, whatever the terrain. Engine noise is minimal, courtesy of the electric powertrain. While safety when driving on motorways is improved, thanks to lane assist technology.
In addition to advanced safety features, such as Autopilot, the Model Y features plenty of tech, alongside the modern touchscreen infotainment system. Enjoy a heated steering wheel, wireless charging and a reversing camera.
With a larger frunk and options to flat-fold rear seats, the Model Y has notably more space for luggage than the Model 3. The interior is minimalistic, but you will still find internal storage compartments in the glovebox, centre console and rear armrest – which both have two cup holders.
