- Continue on the M1 for around 3 miles, then take the exit towards Watford Way/A1.
- From there, exit on to Barnet By-Pass then continue onto Hendon Way/A41.
- Continue on the A41, following signs for Adelaide Rd, then Finchley Rd.
- Then pick up signs for Lisson Grove/B507, where you will enter London toll zones on Seymour Pl. (You can pre-book your London congestion charge online before your trip and pre-pay by the day)
How to get from Stevenage to St Albans
It's just a 30-minute, 16 mile drive from Stevenage to St Albans.
- Head towards Monkswood Way/A602 and then take the A1(M) towards Hatfield/London.
- Continue along the A1 for around 7 miles, then take the A414 exit to Hereford. Then, at the roundabout, exit onto A6129, then again, at the next roundabout, exit to the B197. From there, follow Coopers Green Lane and signs for St Albans centre.
