Hertz at Foerde

Forde is a small town in southwest Norway, and if you're looking for a destination with some awe-inspiring natural beauty then you won't find many places better than this. Forde is a town that was made for lovers of nature but there is plenty more on offer here besides the stunning natural beauty in this area. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, abseiling, and much more. You'll want to explore the surrounding areas as well as the town itself so we recommend hiring a car in Forde from our branch.

It's always good to start with a beautiful attraction and you'll get that at the Forde Open Air Museum. Here you will see beautiful old peasants' houses and get a view of the stunning landscape - a good enough reason to visit this attraction alone, but it's ideal to hire a car in Forde to make your way there and elsewhere in the local area. If you love music then why not go to The Forde International Folk Music Festival, which contains both international and Norwegian folk music. You can finish your trip by seeing some beautiful architecture amongst stunning scenery at the Bru Likholefossen, and there may even be some opportunities for hiking there.
