Collecting your hire car from Nice Airport

Where is the Hertz car hire desk at Nice Airport?

At Nice Airport, the Hertz hire desk is located within the Car Hire Centre, a separate building near to Terminal 2. The car park is also located here. The office is open between the hours of 7.30am and midnight Monday to Sunday.

From Terminal 1, you can get a shuttle bus from Gat A0 on the arrivals floor to Terminal 2 where the hire centre is located. Once there, it’s a short walk to the Car Hire Centre and it’s clearly signposted for your convenience.

From Terminal 2, head out the main doors and the car hire centre is behind Car Park P5, it’s a short walk to the Hertz desk from there.

There are regular shuttle buses between Terminals 1 and 2 to the car parks at Nice Airport, these run every fifteen minutes between 4.30am to around 1.30am. These are free to use. There is also a tram line that runs between the two terminals – you can get to Terminal 2 within three minutes using the tram system.

How to get from Nice Airport to Nice city centre

Nice is a 20-minute drive from Nice Airport. The journey is simple:

From the car hire car park, head north-east on Bd Jacqueline Auriol Superieur before continuing on to Av. Rene Couzinet.
At the roundabout du Voyageur, you will take the first exit towards Av. Santos Dumont.
After 450 metres, turn left on to Av. Auguste Maicon before turning right on to Bd Rene Cassin.
From here, continue towards Voie Mathis, Voie Pierre Mathis/Voie Rapide and after 4.5 km use the 2^nd from right lane to take the exit and head towards Nice-Nord before turning left on to Rue Miollis.
Take a left on to Rue Clement Roassal, before turning right on to Rue Alfred Binet and taking another right onto Bd Joseph Garnier before turning slightly left where it becomes Pl. du General de Gaulle.

Following signs for the airport, take the 1^st exit on to Bd Leon Morane and keep left towards Av. Dider Daurat.
Take a slight left to Bd Jacqueline Auriol Superieur and follow the signs for the Car Hire Centre to the right.

Once you’ve parked your car in the hire car park, just head towards the Hertz hire desk inside the Car Hire Centre located just next to Terminal 2. Our staff will be there to greet you before doing final checks and going through your car return with you.
