Terms and conditions
- You must be a Virgin Atlantic Flying Club member to benefit from this offer.
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club members will earn 5 Virgin Points for every 1 GBP spent on their Hertz rental.
- Virgin Points will only be awarded on time and mileage and will not be awarded on:
- Taxes and Fuel
- Contract rates
- Tour operator rates (other than Virgin Holidays)
- Airline employee rates
- Inter company or employee discount rates
- Car replacements and insurance rates
- Chauffeur services
- Promotional, complimentary, or negotiated rates
- Barter rentals or any rentals in connection with frequent traveller awards
- Gift certificates or vouchers
- Wholesale & OTA rates
- Virgin Points will be credited to your account within 6 – 8 weeks upon return of the vehicle.
- Virgin Points are awarded on the base rate on eligible Hertz rentals at participating locations worldwide.
- Virgin Points are earned on rentals with a maximum length of 30 (thirty) consecutive days. Any additional rental days which exceed the 30 day eligible period are not qualified to earn Virgin Points.
- You must provide your Virgin Atlantic Flying club membership number at the time of the booking and present your membership card at the Hertz counter when picking up the vehicle.
- You will only earn Virgin Points for rentals made in your name which must match your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club membership details.
- You can claim your missing Virgin Points for rentals within 6 months here (if applicable).
- The discount applies to the base rate quoted (excluding VAT and other fees). Discount does not apply to Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft protection (TP) (unless included in the base rate), Vehicle Licensing Fee (VLF), any surcharges (including but not limited to location surcharge or Young Driver Surcharge), taxes or any additional charges and optional extras such as excess waivers (Super Cover), Personal Insurance, snow/chains/tyres, child seats, GPS and fuel which are charged at normal rates.
- 10% discount is only valid at participating Hertz locations and is subject to availability.
- If available at chosen location, discount will be applied automatically when booking using CDP code.
- Discount cannot be combined with any other offer, discount, promotion or corporate rates.
- Hertz 24/7 locations and vehicles are not available for this promotion.
- The offer is valid for rentals booked directly with Hertz via www.hertz.com/virginpoints and through the customer contact centre.
- All rentals are subject to Hertz’s Rental Terms and Rental Qualifications and Requirements.
- The driver must present a valid credit card and driver's license at pick up.
