Los Angeles

In the twenty years since it opened, Skirball Cultural Center has become one of Los Angeles’ major attractions and the only one dedicated to Jewish culture. The aim behind it is to show how this 4000-year-old heritage connects with the democratic ideals of America. Those visiting it today will find great activities for families like Noah’s Ark, featuring a giant wooden vessel to discover, complete with beautifully crafted animals. There is also the Family Art Studio, available at weekends and offering families the chance to create art together. Skirball Cultural Center is free and is open all year, making it a favourite of tourists and residents.
