Dallas is one of the best places in North America to see the world’s greatest musical talents. Let’s take a look at five upcoming must-see concerts hitting clubs and stadiums across the city during late 2016 and early 2017.

The Polyphonic Spree

Majestic Theater, 10th December

The Polyphonic Spree is robed and ready to fill the Majestic Theater with their euphoric sounds for a special homecoming concert. If you’re not already a fan, their music takes inspiration from the greats like Black Sabbath and The Beatles - what’s not to like? Being a 20-strong band The Polyphonic Spree comes across more like a gospel choir; all the more reason to see and hear their symphonies for yourself.

Andrea Bocelli

American Airline Center, 10th December

If you have a penchant for classical music, who better to see than the legend himself, Andrea Bocelli? Arguably one of the world’s most successful classical performers, Bocelli has come a long way from playing a piano as a boy in Italy. With 80 million records sold, this is a rare opportunity to experience his award winning vocals from the front row. Fans will know Bocelli doesn’t tour often, so this will be a concert to remember.

Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra ‘The Legend of Zelda’

Bass Performance Hall, 7th January

For gamers this is a highly anticipated concert tour of the iconic scores of The Legend of Zelda games, performed live by Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. The show will include exclusive symphonic music, as well as new game imagery, to ensure a unique concert experience. Performed and orchestrated live at the prestigious Bass Performance Hall on the 7th January, this is definitely an event all Zelda fans will be adding to their Christmas gift list.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

American Airlines Center, 8th January

If your New Year’s resolution is to see Red Hot Chili Peppers live then you won’t have to wait long to tick it off the list. They are touring North America in 2017 and their first stop on the map is Dallas. The tour is for their 11th album The Getaway, which Pitchfork Magazine called their ‘lushest album yet’, having seen them switch producer for the first time since 1989. Experience the lushness yourself before it sells out.

Bon Jovi

American Airlines Center, 23rd February

No need to live on a prayer waiting for the next Bon Jovi concert, as it’s happening in Dallas on February 23rd. Bon Jovi are touring to promote their 14th studio album, This House Is Not For Sale - you’ll get a free copy of the album when you buy tickets. If you’re visiting the US during early 2017 there’s no harm in taking a little detour in your hire car and booking ahead for a night of iconic music.

Dallas is set to be an exciting place to be for music fans over the next few months. Make sure you don’t miss out on the action.
