Wroclaw is the largest city located in the west of Poland, famous for its nightlife with the large number of pubs and clubs. 2016 is set to be a big year for the city as it has been selected as a European Capital of Culture, World Book Capital, and will also be hosting the European Film Awards. Rent a car in Wroclaw and drive around the city keeping an eye out for dwarves. Dotted all around Wroclaw are 3 dwarf figurines- some are obvious to the eye but the others require more careful observation.
Don't miss the city's main landmark- Wroclaw Cathedral. It is a gothic church with neo-classical additions and it is the home of the oldest pipe organ in Poland. The beautiful double spires of the building tower over the city and you are able to climb to the top for a spectacular panoramic view over the city. In the evening head over to the exhibition ground where you can see a show at the Wroclaw Fountain. The water shoots up to 40 metres into the air and is accompanied by music and laser lights creating a striking display.
