Overall I was happy with my experience. I had gold counter service, and it only took a few minutes to get my car, which was new and operated well. Returning the car was also simple. My reason for dropping from 5 stars to 4 are: - Additional driver charges were not honestly represented. - I was charged an additional EUR to USD conversion fee on my credit card which I did not consent to.

Was a little bit apprehensive after booking with these guys, as I only seen some of the poor reviews that were left here after I booked. However I found the service really good. I was rushed to get on the plane and forgot my wallet which I'd left in the car. I rang the office and they found it pretty quick and then posted it to me recorded delivery free of charge to the UK. Was really easy to deal with. Thanks

At the time of rental the driver must present a full valid national driver's licence, which has been held for at least 2 years.
Customers from Northern Ireland holding a photocard driver's Licence must remember that the photocard and paper counterpart make up the complete driver's licence and both must be produced when renting a vehicle.
For licences not in English & Non - European Union licences, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is highly recommended.
The IDP translates the national licence into various languages and is on its own, without the national licence, not acceptable.
Driver's licences issued by the People's Republic of China may be accepted provided you present an official Hertz Certification form. Hertz China will issue this form on Hertz notepaper and will incorporate the Hertz China Corporate seal. A scanned copy of the original licence will appear on the Certification form. The Certification form is valid until the expiry date of the Driver's Licence. BOTH the Certification and the original licence MUST be produced at the time of rental.
If you hold a Driver's Licence issued in Vietnam, you need to present the original licence together with an authorised translation issued by the Vietnamese Ministry of Transport. If both documents are presented at time of rental these licences are acceptable worldwide.

Extra day is charged after 29 minutes over 24 hour rental period.
A one way rental is a rental which starts at one location and terminates at another. Availability is subject to location restrictions and vehicle type. A fee may apply for this service and will be advised at time of reservation.

Hertz rates do not include fuel.
All Hertz vehicles are rented with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank or a local refuelling charge will apply in addition to the cost of the fuel.
Fuel Purchase Option (FPO).
For your convenience, you may purchase a tank of fuel from Hertz at the time of rental at a price that is competitive with local fuel stations. This method eliminates the need for you to refill the tank before returning. Please be aware that we are unable to give a refund for unused fuel.
