Just to the east of Vancouver lies the city of Coquitlam, which in 29 was declared a Cultural Capital of Canada. Travelling around Coquitlam allows visitors to not only see the whole of the city and take in everything it has to offer, but also allows you to visit nearby cities. Coquitlam is just ten kilometres from Vancouver and a chance to travel there and see the city is definitely worth the short journey. One of the most diverse cities in Canada, Vancouver is renowned for its arts and culture, shopping and sports. In 2015 it will host several games in the FIFA Women's World Cup and they have previously held the Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics.
