Found in northeast Brazil's state of Alagoas, Maceio's coastal location has seen it grow into a potent port city which also produces and processes much of the country's sugarcane. There are some great hidden streets in the city to explore, a vibrant nightlife, friendly people, and of course, some exotic beaches like many places in Brazil.
