Book your car in advance at Hertz Car Rental - Liege Airport to get more availability options.
December is on average the cheapest month to rent a car at Hertz Car Rental - Liege Airport.
Located within the 'golden triangle', Liege Airport, also known as Liege-Biersat, is a significant cargo airfield that handles approximately 70% of European freight. Having started out primarily as a cargo facility, the airport has incorporated commercial flights to over 23 destinations, making it the third largest airport within Belgium in regards to passenger numbers. car hire from Liege Airport shortens your travel time into the city to just 10 minutes, rather than nearly an hour taking public transport. Our pick up services make hiring a car so simple.
The Chateau de Jehay is the perfect place to visit when hiring a car from Liege Airport. Located 24 km from the city, it'll take no more than 20 minutes to reach. This lovely moated castle has been owned by the same family since the 1600s; to help you connect with all that history, you can choose an audio guide option when entering the house. Another perk in choosing to rent a car from Liege Airport is that the Eglise St-Barthelemy is only 5 minutes from the very heart of town. The impressive religious site is Romanesque in design, and was built in the early 1100s, although the twin towers are a powerful architectural feature, it's the brass baptismal font that steals the show.
If you're on a long holiday, and are interested in exploring beyond Liege's city limits the Palace of the Grand Duke, situated in Luxemburg, is a short one hour and 3 minutes drive away; a prime day trip location. Upon your arrival you'll be struck by the magnificent Italian Renaissance façade, an aspect of the structure that has recently been restored to its former glory. You can choose to spend the majority of the day touring the palace, or you can divide your time up, meaning you get a chance to explore the area surrounding it. The rows of independent shops and divine restaurants help to finish off your historic adventure.
