How to get from Almeria to Cartagena

It takes just over two hours to drive the 118 miles from Almeria to Cartagena.

  • Leave the car rental car park at Almeria Leroy Merlin and head towards the N-340a towards Ctra. de Malaga.
  • Take the exit to the AL-12/C. Autovia del Aeropuerto.
  • At the roundabout take the third exit on to the N-349.
  • Join the E-15/A-7 road to Murcia/Nijar and take exit 534A onto the E-15/AP-7
  • Take exit 815, continue to CT-31 and follow the signs for Cartagena centre.

How to get from Almeria to El Ejido

Almeria is half an hour from El Ejido. Get on the E-15/A-7 to Motril/Malaga and follow this until exit 411 for A-1050 towards El Ejido.
