Driving in and around Enfield

The A10 is the best route from Enfield into London, a road that takes you past the North Circular Road and through Stoke Newington before arriving in Spitalfields. Note that it will take you into the Congestion Charge Zone. The A10 also leads north, through Cheshunt and Ware, where you can join the A602 for Stevenage.

Alternatively, you can skirt London on the M25, which circles the Big Smoke for over 100 miles. Head east on it for Brentwood and Purfleet, with exits taking you on the A12 to Chelmsford or the A127 for Southend-on-Sea.
