Small, modern and distinctive; the Zoe is a desirable electric hatchback. The sleek lines and bold curves are enhanced by LED lighting and silver details, such as the front grille. Its interior features tactile materials, with an adjustable steering wheel and driver’s seat.
Behind the wheel you’ll find a 9.3-inch digital display which replaces the traditional gauges and displays navigation directions plus energy use. The 7-inch infotainment touchscreen sits in the middle of the dashboard and can be used for DAB radio, smartphone connectivity and the reversing camera display.
The Renault Zoe is tidy to drive, with well weighted steering and makes easy work out of awkward car parking situations. Engine noise is minimal and there are zero tailpipe emissions, perfect for minimising the impact of commutes and long drives. B-mode driving mode also maximises regenerative braking and turns stopping energy into driving energy.
Helping you stay one step ahead, the Zoe is equipped with advanced driving aids to assist you throughout your journey and can alert you to vehicles entering your mirror blind spots. The optional easy park assist system also makes fitting into tight city spaces easier, while the interior enhances the car’s green credentials, made of recycled seatbelts and plastic bottles.
You wouldn’t expect much boot space from a small hatchback, but the Zoe delivers 338 litres of capacity and competitive rear legroom for its class. There are plenty of handy cubholes, including a phone tray below the touchscreen, cupholders and a spot above the glovebox for items.
When the Zoe needs recharging, it’s a simple process. Find the charging flap at the front of the car, where the Renault badge is, open it and attach the charging cable. Lock the car to secure it. Then, when charging has completed, unlock the Zoe and detach the cable, closing the flap.
