With a maximum power of 140kW (188hp) and torque of 277 lb-ft, the EQA offers a modestly powerful and silent drive. The soft suspension provides extra comfort, especially if you’re looking for a family-friendly crossover for your next long-haul trip. The EQA provides an acceleration of 0-62 mph in 8.6 seconds, which is decent for an EV of this type. Plus, with a maximum range of up to 324 miles on a single charge, you’ve got enough juice for a short trip to the shops or a cross-country drive.

The EQA has an impressive 340 L of cargo space, extended to 1320L with the seats lowered and with space for 5, a Mercedes EQA car hire is perfect for larger groups or trips with significant luggage.

Much like the Mercedes GLA, the EQA has a sporty finish which features the hallmark black panel radiator grille and central star. A horizontal fibre-optic strip connects the LED headlamps, ensuring a high level of recognisability during both nighttime and daytime. The EQAs sporty look is finished off with polished aluminium roof rails, giving it a sleek and sophisticated design.

The EQA comes with a handful of innovative tech upgrades. These include Active Brake Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist to help with autonomous braking and prevent collisions. Other additional drive assist features include the exit warning function and the turning manoeuvre function that alerts drivers to approaching vehicles or cyclists.

The EQA features a standard Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system, which you can configure for a variety of options. The infotainment system comes with a powerful computer and a quality 10.0-inch screen to display high-resolution graphics. Other additional features include navigation with augmented reality and voice control upon activation.

How do I charge a Mercedes EQA?

There are three charging options available with the EQA. You can charge the vehicle at home while plugged directly into a socket. Alternatively, you can plug in your EV car hire using a Type 2 connector. Lastly, you can charge the EQA at rapid charging stations, which are usually found in public spaces such as supermarkets, petrol stations, and car parks. The UK has almost 30,000 charging locations spread across the country.

How do I park a Mercedes EQA?

The Mercedes EQA comes with Active Parking Assist, an electronic parking system that uses a reversing camera, 360-degree camera, and ultrasound technology to aid in parking. The system can automatically detect parking spaces on either side of the car when you’re driving forward up to 21 mph (35 km/h). Once you’ve selected the desired parking space, the system will help with braking, accelerating, steering and gear changes to improve your chances of parking correctly.
