Rental Terms, Qualifications and Requirements

Authorisation - Deposit

When you collect the vehicle we will block a reservation amount on your credit or debit card. The reserved amount will not be accessible by you during your rental. We will release the reservation amount after final calculation and payment of your rental charges on return (minus any charges). However, it may take up to 30 days to show in your account due to your card issuer’s processes.

Hertz

For “Pay at Location” rentals the amount reserved will be:

• the greater of either (a) the full cost of the rental plus a tank of fuel/recharge or (b) €200 (£200 / CZK 5,000) 
• PLUS €500 (£0 / CZK 15,000) if you have not purchased SuperCover to protect us from potential damage charges. 

For “Pre-Pay Online” rentals the amount reserved will be:

• the greater of either (a) the cost of any additional products/services you have selected plus a tank of fuel/recharge or (b) €200 (£200 / CZK 5,000). 
• PLUS €500 (£0 / CZK 15,000) if you have not purchased SuperCover to protect us from potential damage charges. 

The currency used will be that of the country of collection.

The cost of fuel/recharge will vary according to the make and model of the vehicle. 

Please ensure you have sufficient funds available on your credit or debit card to cover the reservation. We will not be responsible for any bank charges that may be incurred.

Dollar/ Thrifty

For “Pay at Location” rentals the amount reserved will be the greater of either (a) the full cost of the rental plus a tank of fuel/recharge or (b) €/£750 / CZK 22,000 (€/£200 / CZK 5,000 if you select SuperCover). The cost of fuel/recharge will vary according to the make and model of the vehicle. 

For “Pre-Pay Online” rentals the amount reserved will be the greater of either (a) the cost of any additional products selected plus a tank of fuel/recharge or (b) €/£750 / CZK 22,000 (€/£200 / CZK 5,000 if you select SuperCover). The cost of fuel/recharge will vary according to the make and model of the vehicle.
