According to the Italian Highway Code, the use of child car seats for the transportation of children is mandatory (art. 172). Hertz offers an option to rent a belt-positioning booster seat to be used in the back seat for children who have outgrown a convertible car seat. Children up to 60 inches (150 cm) in height or up to 12 years of age, weighing 33-80 pounds (15-36 kilos) should use these seats. Please note that Booster Car Seat style varies per location.

Hertz offers booster seats at most locations and for all vehicle groups except for:

(P4) Iveco Daily Tail Lift or similar
