What happens on the day of return?
Within 30 minutes of us closing your Rental Agreement we will automatically send you a PDF version of your receipt to the email listed in your profile.
Are Hertz eReceipts VAT invoices?
Hertz eReceipts are not tax invoices, they are detailed statements of charges only.
What happens if I return my car out of operating hours?
Please note that if you are returning to a location that is closed, all charges will continue to accrue until the location reopens for business.
What happens if I don’t receive my eReceipt?
Receipts for past rentals can also be found at ‘Find a Receipt’ in your Hertz Gold profile. Also check that the email address in your profile is up to date.
We do not charge a fee for this service, however data roaming charges may apply. It is the user's responsibility to check with their individual carrier, as other charges may apply. Hertz assumes no responsibility for charges incurred by signing up for this service.
eReceipt is available when you travel to Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany,
Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherland, Slovakia, Spain, the UK and the USA only.
