What happens on the day of hire?
As soon as your car is ready, we will send you a Carfirmation™ by email with the car we have chosen for you and the registration number. At Hertz Gold counter bypass branches we will also tell you the parking bay number the car is parked in, so you can go straight to your car and get on your way. At other Hertz branches, you need to pick up the keys and contract from a Hertz representative.

What if I am late?
If you are late or we need to change your car, we will send you a message to let you know. Just come straight to the Gold counter when you arrive and we will get you on your way.

What if I don’t need the car anymore?
Just call the phone number in the message to cancel the reservation. We appreciate you letting us know.

What happens if I don’t receive my Carfirmation™?
Just check the Hertz Gold Board on arrival or come to the Gold counter. Also check that the email address and mobile phone number in your profile are up to date.

We do not charge a fee for this service, however data roaming charges may apply. It is the user's responsibility to check with their individual carrier, as other charges may apply. Hertz assumes no responsibility for charges incurred by signing up for this service.
