Effective 1 November 2011, Hertz is no longer a participating partner in the Air New Zealand Airpoints programme and is unable to award Airpoints to our customers. Hertz continues to be an active partner in other leading Frequent Flyer programmes and we will happily apply points from any Hertz qualifying rental to one of these programmes. Alternatively, if you are a #1 Club Gold member you can earn valuable Hertz #1 Awards points toward free rental days every time you rent . For any Hertz reservations made prior to 1 November 2011, Air New Zealand will credit Airpoints as long as the rental is completed by 1 May 2012 and the rental meets the criteria for earning Airpoints. To make a claim please visit  myairnz.com and login, then choose Missing Airpoints Dollars from the myPoints menu heading and complete the rental car form. You will be required to provide Air New Zealand with the orginal rental agreement document to accompany your claim.
