Participation in the Gold Plus Rewards Program
Terms and Conditions
To participate, please sign up for free in the Gold Plus Rewards Programme.
Only individuals with an address in the following countries may participate:

You or your travel agent must mention your Gold Plus Rewards membership number and ask to receive Gold Plus Rewards Points (the code “ZE1”) each time a reservation is made, or at the time of rental in order for the member to earn Gold Plus Rewards Points for a particular rental. Gold Plus Rewards Points are used in place of any other frequency program number for a particular rental. In order to receive Gold Plus Rewards Points on all your Hertz rentals, please log into your member account and update your “Affiliations” located in “My Profile”.

What About Earning Gold Plus Rewards Points?
Participants will earn one point for every qualified U.S. dollar, or its equivalent in the currency tendered on each qualifying rental. Qualifying rentals include all car rentals, (excluding truck and van rentals), at participating locations.
You can access you Gold Plus Rewards account information such as current balance earned and redeemed anytime by logging onto hertz.com.
What About Redeeming for Rewards Rentals?
You can redeem specified points for Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Rentals or participating frequent traveler program miles/points or credits. To redeem miles/points/credits, members simply login to hertz.com, then click on the "Use My Gold Plus Points" link at the top of the page, and follow the directions to book online at hertz.com.
What About Using Hertz Gold Plus Rewards?
When making a Gold Plus Rewards reservation, please select your desired reward as part of the reservation process.
You may use your Gold Plus Rewards Points for a rentals in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the U.S., Canada, and participating U.S. Territories. Members must redeem Gold Plus Rewards Points in one transaction online when booking a rental. To redeem Points tick the 'use my points' box when you start making a reservation. Points will be automatically deducted from your account. Changes, modifications or cancellations to the Reward reservation can be made online.
Redemption of Gold Plus Rewards Points for rentals in participating countries in Europe (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Portugal) will apply toward pre-paid rentals only of certain compact, intermediate and seven seater car classes and any additional days beyond those for which points are redeemed, must be paid for in advance in accordance with the rules of the rental. Cars included within specific car classes will vary by country. Rewards are based on 1 day, 1 weekend (1 or 2 days), and one week. When redeeming for a weekend reward, it may only be redeemed against a weekend rate and the rental must be kept over a Saturday night. Rates used to calculate Reward redemptions may differ from on-line rates.
Rewards for rentals in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the United States, Canada and participating U.S. Territories will apply toward non pre-paid rentals only and any additional days beyond those for which points are redeemed, must be paid in accordance with the rules of the rental.
Unless otherwise specified, Reward Rental Days are available for rentals within Belgium & Luxembourg, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands. Hertz reserves the right to limit the number of cars available for Gold Plus Rewards Rental usage. Gold Plus Rewards Rentals will be subject to vehicle availability at the time and place of rental. Vehicle must be returned to original rental location.
AnyDay Rewards may be used during specified AnyDay Rewards travel periods. If the desired date for the commencement of a reward rental falls during an AnyDay Reward period, the whole rental is subject to the utilization of an AnyDay Rewards Period and does not qualify for the use of a Standard Reward. Rewards apply to contracted time and mileage only. Members are responsible for governmental surcharges, taxes, tax reimbursement, vehicle license fees, airport related fees, Fuel Purchase Option, refueling, excess mileage charge, LDW and optional items.
Rewards are not combinable. Only one Gold Plus Rewards Rental Reward can be used per rental transaction. So for example, if a member selects a one day, weekend or one week rental for a reward redemption, they may pay for additional days and extend the length of the rental, but they may not redeem for two or more rewards in the same rental reservation (so if they wanted to redeem for four days, they could not redeem four one-day rentals rewards in the same rental reservation). In addition, Gold Plus Rewards Rental Rewards may not be combined with any other discount, promotion, coupon or frequent traveler reward program (i.e., airline frequent flyer, hotel frequency program, Haute Fidélité in France, etc.). All local rental and age requirements apply.
Gold Plus Rewards points are only transferable to a member's spouse or domestic partner. Prior to any transfers, the member's spouse or domestic partner should have his/her own Gold Plus Rewards member number.
Gold Plus Rewards offers are void where prohibited by law. Gold Plus Rewards Points will not be refunded in the event on no shows, early vehicle returns or reservation cancellation requests, unless the rental is cancelled with at least twenty-four hours notice prior to rental pick up time shown on the reservation. Gold Plus Rewards Points, frequent traveler miles/points or credits and Gold Plus Rewards Rentals are not exchangeable, refundable or redeemable for cash or credit under any circumstance. Tax liabilities arising from the Program are the sole responsibility of the member.
General Program Terms
1. Hertz has the right to change, limit or modify Program rules, Rewards, Reward structure and Gold Plus Rewards Point levels at any time with or without notice.
2. The number of Gold Plus Rewards Points required to redeem any Reward may be increased, any Reward may be withdrawn, and restrictions on any Reward or its redemption may be imposed at any time.
3. In accumulating Gold Plus Rewards Points, members should not rely upon the continuing availability of any Reward or Reward level, and members may not be able to obtain all offered Rewards in all circumstances:
Hertz has the right to terminate the Gold Plus Rewards Program at any time upon six months prior notice to members. As of the termination date, members will no longer be able to earn Gold Plus Rewards Points or to redeem Gold Plus Rewards Points for Rewards. Hertz may terminate the Program at any time in whole or in part without advance notice in any jurisdiction(s) if required to do so by applicable law. In addition, the Program may be suspended or terminated if events beyond Hertz’s reasonable control, such as computer or electronic transmission failure, materially affect Hertz’s ability to continue the Program.
