Driving in and around Milton Keynes
Key Motorways In And Around Milton Keynes
- M1 – Runs along the east side of the town, continuing south into the capital, passing through Leicester and the Midlands, ending near Leeds.
- M40 – Travels to the west of Milton Keynes and can be reached via the A421. It heads up towards Birminghamand down to London, passing close to Oxford.
Main roads in Milton Keynes
- A5 – Situated on the west side of the city, it joins up with the M1 in the south and continues north, through Telford, into North Wales.
- A421 – Heads towards the M40 in the west and the M1 in the east, passing through the central Milton Keynes. In the east, it continues towards Bedford and the A1.
- A509 – Meets the A5 in the west and crosses through the centre across to the M1 in the east, where it then heads towards Wellingborough.
- B4034 – Travels north to south through the town, connecting the A509 to the A421.

Bleak Hall Industrial Estate
Situated just south of the town centre, Bleak Hall Industrial Estate houses several local businesses. A Hertz van location is on the estate and is handy if you’re transporting items from local company premises in the area.
