Christ Church is one of Oxford University’s largest and most famous colleges, with approximately 650 students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Many great minds have passed through the corridors as students, including 13 British Prime Ministers. Christ Church is one of the most architecturally impressive of all 38 Oxford’s colleges, with much of it being designed by former Oxford student Christopher Wren. It is for that reason that the college is regularly used as a backdrop to many famous films and television shows. The most notable of these is the Harry Potter series, which has used Christ Church’s Great Hall, stairway and cloisters as filming locations. Prices to visit Christ Church vary on what’s on and also the time of year, but prices never stray above the £10 mark.
