Leeds

You'll find this acclaimed museum of industrial history in the Armley district, to the west of Leeds. If you visit the Leeds Industrial Museum, you'll be able to follow the city's working heritage from the industrial revolution to the present day.

Discover how industries like engineering, textiles, railways and printing helped create the wealth of Leeds. The museum's displays of old machinery, railway stock and industrial artefacts are housed in what was once the world's largest woollen mill.

The highlights of this picturesque canalside setting include a collection of restored steam locomotives, carefully recreated Victorian workers' cottages and a working 1920s cinema showing short films about Leeds.
