It's free to enter the galleries of the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds. This centre for studying sculpture is named after one of Britain's most acclaimed sculptors, who was born in Yorkshire. If you visit the Henry Moore Institute you'll find exhibitions of new and established sculptor's work, ranging from traditional and historic styles to contemporary pieces. Guided tours by sculpture experts are available or you can simply browse the exhibition galleries yourself. The Institute also manages the sculpture collection at the nearby Leeds Art Gallery, usually featuring pieces from the Institute's own permanent collection. Note that the Henry Moore Institute hosts a busy programme of inspiring talks, courses and exhibitions.
