Hertz passion for cars, and for people, will be proudly displayed on Saturday 6 August, when the world’s premier car hire company joins forces with the UK’s premier LGBT festival - Brighton Pride.
As the festival’s Official Fleet Provider, Hertz will help keep Brighton Pride Festival moving by providing their services to the organisational team both before and during the event. Hertz support will also be extended to community organisations and parade participants who will be able to take advantage of preferential car and van hire rates during the event.
Brighton Pride Festival is the largest of its kind in the UK, with over 300,000 people reported to have attended last year’s event. The theme for this year’s Festival is ‘Uniting Nations’, a message which Hertz aims to reiterate by showing its love for the seaside community. Brighton is an important location for Hertz with its varied mix of customers, local businesses and visitors to the area.
Hertz will make their presence known during the parade as it winds its way from the Hove Lawns on Brighton seafront to Preston Park. Look out for a bunting clad retro VW Camper Van playing a colourful summer soundtrack of car, driving, travel and holiday related tunes, two VW Crafters adorned with the ‘Love Hertz’ creative and approximately 45 people who will be walking alongside the vehicles, showing their pride and handing out whistles to eager onlookers.
The Preston Park element of the this year’s Festival features a world-class line-up of artists including international superstar Carly Rae Jepsen, Alesha Dixon, Sister Sledge and Fleur East, just to name a few. Hertz has proudly teamed up with Attitude magazine to bring you all the highlights, and share all the stories, from Brighton Pride Festival 2016 and be sure to keep an eye on the big screens around Preston Park for special Hertz content.
The parade is due to start at 11am and tickets for Preston Park can be purchased from brighton-pride.org.
