The People's Palace & Winter Gardens offers visitors a unique insight into the social history of Glasgow through the ages. Originally opened in 1898, this attraction is located within the attractive Glasgow Green and is just a short walk from the vibrant city centre. As well as showcasing collections of artwork, photographs, prints and film, the People's Palace also has a whole host of interactive displays so visitors can fully experience how Glaswegian society has changed since 1750. Horticulture fans should also take the chance to explore the Winter Gardens, taking in all the exotic and tropical plants under the impressive Victorian-built glass roof.
