Cambridge

When visiting Cambridge, a walk along the banks of the River Cam, which flows through the city, is a must. The Cam runs just over 14 miles and meets at the junction with the Ouse at Pope's Corner, and there are several ways you can take in its beauty. The Fen River Way is a highly recommended walk between Cambridge and Kings Lynn, following the River Cam and Great Ouse. Alternatively, a walk along the Backs, from Magdalene Street Bridge to Silver Street Bridge, will take you along the river where many of the colleges of the University of Cambridge back on to the water. Of course, if you want to view the river from a totally different perspective, consider being chauffeured in a traditional Cambridge punt.
