The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology is part of the University of Cambridge and situated on its Downing Site. You will find collections of art and archaeological and ethnographic artefacts from all over the world, ranging from stone tools and pots to sculptures and paintings, which represent various cultures and beliefs spanning nearly two million years of human history. There are three floors of displays, and the museum is home to one of the biggest collections of items from the voyages of Captain James Cook, as well as objects from Oceania and Anglo-Saxon Britain.
