This unassuming spot in the Belfast Harbour Estate is actually home to more than 100 species of bird and other animals throughout the year, as the RSPB has opened a Window on Wildlife for nature-lovers to enjoy. Take up your position in one of the brand new hides around the reserve and you're sure to get a visual treat through your binoculars. As the seasons change so too will the variety of birds on show, with Arctic and common tern enjoying the summer season here and the emergence of different kinds of wildfowl taking up residence during the colder months. The friendly volunteers are on hand to answer any questions, so even beginners to birdwatching will have a fun experience at WOW.
