This award-winning collection documents northeast Scotland's long seafaring history. If you visit the Aberdeen Maritime Museum you will find unique fascinating displays about the oil and gas industry in the North Sea; plus an acclaimed archive of objects and interactive displays to do with shipbuilding, sailing ships, fishing and harbours.

The Maritime Museum stands on Aberdeen's historic Shiprow. Part of the museum is the old 16th century Provost's House, while another modern part offers visitors a dramatic view over the busy harbour. You'll find there's a licensed café and gift and souvenir shop inside too.
