MASERATI Quattroporte

The name sounds exotic but only means ‘four doors’ in Italian. Don’t worry, if you hire a Quattroporte you’ll find everything else about this stylish luxury sports coupe IS glamorous. It’s the latest generation of an Italian classic that has been produced since 1963. It’s still a very rapid sports car but now features a mix of steel and aluminium bodywork and a range of turbo-charged engines with a slick eight-speed automatic gearbox. Above that however, is the fact that, as the name implies, this is a much larger vehicle than a normal sports coupe. That means there’s room for five to enjoy the opulent cabin.
