Lingen is a town in Germany which is located along the river Ems, near where Autobahn junctions 30 and 31 intersect. It is probably best known for its extremely beautiful surroundings amid the Emsland. The town, which dates back to the Middle Ages, is thought to be over 1,000 years old. Traces of history can still be found among its oldest buildings such as the Historical Town Hall.
