The tiny German village of Hahn has become famous as the name is given to an airport that has developed right alongside it. The Frankfurt-Hahn airport stands in the western Rhineland district. The airport is, in fact, 75 miles from the city of Frankfurt. Visitors who hire a car at Hahn can of course drive to Frankfurt but it also allows them to reach other places in the area. These include cities like Trier, Koblenz, Mainz and Wiesbaden. Apart from the airport, Hahn is a rural farming area.
