In the Czech Republic, the established city of Brno is beaten only by the capital Prague in terms of size, population and importance. By all accounts, the second city is well worth a trip for those who have developed a taste for Czech culture but don’t fancy paying for their stay at Prague prices. Hire a car in Brno and you’ll have the opportunity to visit the wide range of architectural tributes to the city’s heritage which still stand today – including monasteries, museums and galleries. The local area has several UNESCO World Heritage sites too which are definitely worth the cost of car hire in Brno.
