The city of Londrina forms part of the state of Parana, in the south of Brazil. Its regional air link is through a smart modern airport named after Governor Jose Richa, who was a successful local politician. The airport is just a mile to the southeast of the city centre. The airport occupies flat land to the north of the River Cambé as it flows through the thick woods of the Arthur Thomas Park. Visitors who hire a car at Londrina Airport find that the Avenida Santos Dumont leads straight from the terminal car park to the city centre.
If you hire a car at the airport you'll be able to explore this area of neat farmland between patches of original rainforest. It's a short drive southwest to Parque Estadual Mata dos Godoy, where you can explore a swathe of pristine forest. In Londrina itself there's a mix of modern urban development but also with expanses of greenery. It's a busy city which holds both a cathedral and university, yet retains wild natural areas, like the Arthur Thomas Park near the airport. Monkeys live in the forest here and there's also a boating lake, waterfall, and most inspiring of all, a tower which, once ascended, offers a stunning all-round view of the city.
With a wide range of travellers passing through our locations every day, we've got a wide range of vehicles on offer to suit your needs - from smart executive saloons to compact family hatchbacks. ***
