Hertz Motorbike Collection

•Minimum Rental Period: One day (24 hours).
•Minimum Age: 26 years for all groups.
•Drivers License: Mandatory (category A) and valid for at least 3 years.
•Fuel: The motorbikes are delivered with a full tank and should be returned the same way, if not the missing fuel and a refuelling charge of 13,75€ will be applied.
•Use of the Motorbike: Not allowed to circulate out of Portugal. Prohibited to enter in sport events or circulate out of conventional roads. Nobody except the renter or the additional driver is authorized to drive the motorbike.
•Rates Include: Limited Daily Kilometers (300 kms per day), Limited Public Liability Cover, (CDW) Collision Damage Waiver, (VAT) Governamental Tax, Maintenance and 24 hour Road Assistance.
•Rates do not Include: (PAI) Personal Accident Insurance, (AD) Additional Driver, Traffic Fines, Fuel and in case of accident, the towing expenses to the nearest Hertz Location.
•Week-End Periods:

           2 Days (from Saturday 09h00 until Sunday 19h00), includes 600 Kms.

           3 Days (from Friday 14h00 until 09h00 of next Monday), includes 900 kms.
•(CDW) Collision Damage Waiver: Included in the rental rates and in case of accident, the customer is liable up to a Minimum Excess Charge (NWE).
•Excess Charges: In case of accident/damages, the customer is financially responsible up to the minimum excess charge. In case of violation of these contractual conditions, such as theft of the vehicle or parts thereof, the customer is responsible up to the maximum excess charge (see chart enclosed).
•(PAI) Personal Accident Insurance: Optional. Has a daily charge of 3,69€ and the following coverages: Disablement or Death - 37.409,85€ and Medical Expenses - 3.740,98€.
•(AD) Additional Driver: Available at na extra charge of 12,30€ per day.
•(RIH/LIT) Rent-it-Here/Leave-it-There: This service is not available for this product (Motorbike Collection). The rented motorbike must be returned to the same Hertz location it was picked up, or else a extra charge of 250,00€ will be applied.
•No Show Fee: In the event that you fail to pick up the Motorbike or do not cancel the reservation up to 2 days (48 hours) before the pick-up time, an extra charge of 49,20€ will be applied. Due to this issue when booking your reservation a valid credit card will be requested for the charge of a “No Show fee” if applicable.
•Payment Methods: In the beginning of the rental, a valid credit card accepted by Hertz will be requested to serve as guarantee deposit payment at the end of the rental.
