The date and time you need to return your vehicle is stated on your booking confirmation email and Rental Record. Our branches have individual opening times so you should factor these in to ensure you are not left with any additional charges or unnecessary waiting around.
It is important that you return your vehicle as close as possible to your reserved drop-off time, or you may be charged for an extra dayâs rental. Your return location may allow a limited grace period but this is entirely at its discretion.
If you need to return your vehicle outside of opening hours you should discuss your options with our team at the start of your rental. If out of hours drop-off is permitted, you will remain responsible for the vehicle until the branch opens again and the car is checked.
It may be possible to return your car to a different location, subject to the vehicle type you are hiring and route that you intend to take. A One Way Fee may apply for this service and you will be advised at the time of reservation if your journey is permissible.
When you drop-off your vehicle we will check that it was returned in the same condition as you found it upon pick-up. If any damage occurred we will apply a charge depending on the nature of the damage and the level of your insurance cover. Please refer to our Damage Policy.
When you return your vehicle we will check how much fuel is left in the tank. We will then charge you if appropriate, depending on the fuel option you selected on pick-up. For more details please refer to our Fuel Policy.
